I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed the beautiful weather! Can you believe this is our second to last week of school! The time has just flown by!
Joke of the Week: Where do rabbits go to eat breakfast?
Song of the Week- We will pick some of our favorite songs from the whole year and listen and dance to a different one each day!
Language Arts- This week we will continue Unit 10 our final unit of our Wonder’s series. Our essential question is, In what ways are things alike? How are they different? we will read, “The Perfect Color”. We will learn the sight word – does and very. We will continue to determine the missing sounds in CVC words, count how many words in a sentence and read in small groups and have reading homework. We will continue to review all the different word families.
Language Arts Centers- This weeks centers will be reading and CVC words.
Math- This week we will begin Chapter 18– Place Value Foundations: Represent Numbers to 20 with a Written Numeral and our test will be on Friday.
Math Centers- We will practice identifying numbers up to 20.
Jesus Time- We have completed the whole Bible! Each day a child will pick his/her favorite story and we will read that one and watch the video to reinforce the story! 🙂
Science: We will read about ocean animals and how our clothes will vary from the summer compared to the winter.
