Language Arts- This week we will wrap up Unit 8 of our Wonder’s series. Our essential question is, What do you see in the sky? & we will read, Bringing Down the Moon. We will review many of our sight words and learn a new one- did. We will focus on the letters and their sounds and continue to determine the missing sounds in CVC words, count how many words in a sentence and read in small groups and have reading homework. We will continue to review all the different word families and in grammar, we will learn about prepositions, showing connection in a sentence. Ex. I bought this book for you.
Language Arts Centers- This weeks centers will be reading and CVC words.
Math- This week we will continue Module 14– Analyze and Compare Three-Dimensional Shapes and have our test on Thursday.
Math Centers- We will review 3D Shapes.
Jesus Time- We will go back in our bible and read the stories we skipped over in order to read about Christmas, Easter and Jesus’s time on Earth.
Science: This week will observe, and take care of our plants we planted this past Thursday. We will continue to water them, keep them by the sun to help them grow and take notes in our Grass Head Journal.
