Joke of the Week: What’s a cow’s favorite night of the year?
Language Arts- This week we continue Unit 4 of our Wonder’s series. Our essential question is, Who are your neighbors? We will read, What Can You Do with a Paleta? We will learn new sight words- “who” & “must” and we will focus on the letter Dd and the long and short a sound. We will continue to blend three sounds to make a word and focus on the short ‘i’ word families. In grammar, we will continue to learn about adjectives and this week we will use numbers to describe.
Language Arts Centers- This weeks centers will be CVC words.
Math- This week we will begin Lesson 8 – Represent Numbers 6 to 10 with Written Numerals.
Math Centers- We will practice addition and subtraction problems.
Jesus Time- We will continue to read about Jesus growing up and all the wonderful stories he told and miracles he preformed.
Social Studies: We will learn about who Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is and work on a class project.
