Language Arts- This week we will continue Unit 5 of our Wonder’s series. Our essential question is, How do living things change as they grow? We will read, A Grand Ole Tree. We will learn a new sight word – look and we will focus on the letter Ee and the long and short e sound. We will continue to blend sounds and determine the missing sounds in CVC words. We will also complete all of our word families, and continue to read more with those word family words and sight words. In grammar, we will continue to learn about pronouns- he, she, we, I, they and it.
Language Arts Centers- This weeks centers will be sight words and CVC words.
Math- This week we will complete Module 9 – Use the Count Sequence to Count to 100 and our test will be on Wednesday.
Math Centers- We will practice counting up to 100 by 10s and counting from a certain number other than 1.
Jesus Time- We will continue to read about Jesus growing up and all the wonderful stories he told and miracles he preformed.
Science: This week we will dive into Mystery Science and learn about how and why Legos were invented along with different kind of penguins.
Don’t forget to dress up this week for Lutheran Schools week and our very own spirit week!
Monday- Pajama Day…..Tuesday- Dress in your favorite color…..Wednesday- Dress your best (no jeans!)…..Thursday….Dress like a teacher….Friday- 80s Day
