Math Grade 6
This week we continuing with our fraction unit. This unit covers addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions. We will eventually take these skills and apply them to word problems. This week will focus on fraction application problems.

Math Grade 7
This week we are continuing with Unit 2. This week our focus will be on Module 5. We will be representing percent problems algebraically, as well as percent of increase and decrease application problems involving discounts, tax, and tips.

Pre-Algebra
This week we are working on our solving equations chapter. Last week, equations involving 2 steps, multi-steps, and fractions were covered. This week we will be solving equations with variables on both sides, writing and solving algebraic equations from word problems, and consecutive integer word problems.
Thursday, 11/10- Quiz on writing and solving equations from word problems
Extra Help is Wednesday, from 7:45- 8: 15.
Algebra
This week we will begin chapter 6. This chapter focuses on solving systems of equations using graphing, substitution, and elimination methods. We will eventually apply these skills to word problems.
