Math Grade 6
This week we are starting our second unit on fractions. This unit covers addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions. We will eventually take these skills and apply them to word problems. This week will focus on addition and subtraction of fractions.
Extra help will be on Wednesdays from 7:45-8:15

Math Grade 7
This week we are starting Unit 2. Module 4 covers unit rate, writing equations from proportional relationships, and graphing these relationships.

Pre-Algebra
This week we are starting a new chapter on solving equations. Equations involving 2 steps, multi-steps, and fractions will be covered.

Algebra
This week we are continuing with Chapter 5 on linear equations. We will be exploring slope, y-intercept, and different ways to graph a line, including using a table, x and y intercepts, and slope-intercept form. We will be covering various forms of a line including point slope and standard form. We will be discussing scatter plots and trend lines, as well as how to graph absolute value equations. Please be sure to have graph paper for this chapter.
Friday, 10/28- Quiz on writing equations given two points, parallel and perpendicular lines, point slope form, scatter plots, and absolute value graphs.
