Math Grade 6
This week we are exploring our last unit on Geometry. We will cover how to find the area of rectangles, parallelograms, triangles, and trapezoids. Area of irregular figures will also be explored.
After Memorial Day, we will begin reviewing for finals. Review packets will be sent home to assist the students with studying for the exam.
Extra help will be on Wednesdays from 7:45-8:15

Algebra
This week we are finishing up Chapter 12, Statistics. Histograms, Box Plots, Frequency Tables, and Percentiles will be explored.
We are also beginning our Regents review. Multiple packets and old regents exams will be given to the students to help them prepare. The Regents is June 16th, at 8:30 am.
Extra help is by appointment.
Physical Science- Grade 8
The students are finishing up Chapter 7. This chapter explores fluids and pressure, buoyant Force and fluids and motion.
