Math Grade 6
This week we are starting Module 9. This module covers exponents, prime factorization, and order of operations (PEMDAS).
Tests and Quizzes: Quiz Friday, March 4th on Module 9.

Math Grade 7
This week we will finish up Module 8 and begin Module 9. This week we will focus on circumference and area of circles. We will also explore finding area of composite figures.
Tests and Quizzes: Quiz Tuesday, 3/1 on Module 8. ( constructing triangles, angle relationships, and cross sections)
Extra help will be on Wednesdays from 7:45-8:15.
Algebra
This week we are working on Chapter 8. This chapter covers adding, subtracting, and multiplying polynomials. Multiplying polynomials using distributive property and FOIL will be explored. Factoring will also be covered. On Tuesday, we will be working on a Polynomial Lab.

Physical Science- Grade 8
This week we are starting chapter 15, Chemical Compounds. Ionic, Covalent, and Organic Compounds will be explored. Acids, Bases, Neutralizers, and Ph will also be discussed.
