What we are Learning
Reading– We will be reading the story of Henry and Mudge. We will then compare this story to last week’s story Ann’s First Day.
Math– We are working on reviewing the basic facts and drawing Ten-Frames.
Science- We are learning about adaptations and how different kinds of plants adapt to their environment.
Social Studies– We are learning about the various roles that people play in their community. We will be taking a test on Unit 1 this Friday.
Religion- We are reading the stories, “Jacob’s Ladder” and “Joseph”.

Spelling Test (Long Vowel Words)- Friday
Reminders
On Tuesday nights students will be bringing a folder home with any tests they took from the past week. Please empty the folder, sign it, and have your child return it on Wednesday.
Back to School Night is this Wednesday, September 18th at 7:00 pm
Please check your child’s planner and take home folder every night for the homework!!
Pizza envelopes are due by Thursday.
