Here’s a look at what we will be learning this week!

Math– We are finishing up Module 6 by exploring even and odd numbers. The students will investigate the patterns of even and odd numbers. Then the students will relate rectangular arrays to numbers.

Reading- We are continuing to read Stanley Flat Again! The students will have a test on this book on Friday.

LA- We will be continue our unit on adjectives by learning about adjectives that compare. We will also review how to write book titles.

Science- The students will take a test on Chapter 8 on Thursday. They will be completing review work on the chapter during the week.  

SS– This week we are learning about the government in our communities.

Reminders  

Please send back the permission slip for the Whaling Museum Field trip. The trip will be on Thursday, May 15th.

The students will be coming home with a Non-fiction book report for May. They were able to choose any topic that interested them. This report will be due back on Wednesday, May 28th.
