Last week we created flip books to help us remember the three states of matter. Inside the flipbooks you will find facts about solids, liquids and gases. On the front, the students drew many great pictures of items they identified as solids, liquids or gases.
Here’s a look at what we will be learning this week!
Math– We are continuing Module 6 by constructing rectangles and squares with tiles. The students are relating their constructions to what they know about arrays.
Reading- We will be reading God Made Easter and “Fernando’s Gift” from the reading textbook. Through Fernando’s gift we will learn about Costa Rica and we will continue to review identifying the main idea and details.
LA- We will be reviewing Unit 5 for our test on Wednesday.
Science- We will be learning about the changes that occur from one state of matter to the next.
SS– This week we are learning about our country’s capital, Washington D.C.
