If you are in the building, feel free to stop in our classroom to check out our “Writing the Compares”. The students did a fabulous job incorporating the characteristics of “writing that compares” into the final writing pieces.  They each picked a topic that interested them to write about.

Here’s a look at what we will be learning this week!

Math– We will continue to learn about arrays, rows and columns to prepare for multiplication and division. By the end of the week the students will be able to apply what they know to solve word problems.

Reading- We will be reading the Fossils Tell of Long Ago from the reading textbook. We are continuing to work on finding the main idea of the story. The students will be tested on the story and Chapter 7 of science on Friday.

LA- We are learning about possessive pronouns and pronoun contractions.

Science- This week the students will be learning about the states of matter and how they can be changed. 

SS– This week the students will be learning about the Constitution and how government leaders are chosen.

Religion- The story of “The Birth of John” will help remind us that we all have a purpose in this world.

Reminders  

Wingo is this Friday, April 4th. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

This Tuesday is the last Zumba class of the winter session, a new session will begin Tuesday, April 15th.
