Last week our entire school participated in Read Across America Week. Every day of the week, all the students had 15 minutes of DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) time. Everyone in the school was reading at the same time each day! Here is a picture of our class during DEAR time.
Here’s a look at what we will be learning this week!
Math– This week we will continue to add and subtract three-digit numbers. The students will learn different strategies to add and subtract faster.
Reading- We will be reading the Magic Tree House book, Dinosaurs Before Dark to coincide with our science chapter on dinosaurs.
LA- We will be reviewing everything we learned in Unit 4 for our test on Friday.
Science- We will learning about fossils and dinosaurs. Ask your child about their visit to the critter room on Monday!!
SS– We will be reviewing the 50 states and their location on the map.
Religion- The story of “Daniel and his Friends” will help us discuss temptation
