Here’s a look at what we will be learning this week!

Math– We will practice estimation with two-digit estimation problems and two-digit subtraction problems. We will also learn how to eliminate extra information from word problems. Lastly, the students will practice two-step word problems before taking a test on Module 4 on Thursday.

Reading- This week we are reading the short story Best Vacation Ever from the reading textbook. The story tells about a young girl who travels through numerous states on her family vacation.

LA- We are learning about irregular verbs. The students will review the verbs, “go, do, say, see, run, come, give, and sing.” 

Science- We will be learning about the water cycle.

SS– We will be learning more about how trade works. We will also be discussing the word cooperation and how it relates to getting the things we need and want.

Religion- The story of “Naaman and Elisha” will remind us of the promises God makes to us in baptism.
