Last week, we practiced our creative writing by using candy conversation hearts. The outcome was very sweet!!
Here’s a look at what we will be learning this week!
Math– We are now reviewing addition and subtraction together. Students are learning how to determine whether to add or subtract when they read a word problem.
Reading- This week we are beginning the chapter book Super Secret Valentine.
LA- We are learning about linking verbs, placing commas in places and the verbs “go” and “do”.
Science- We are doing a review of weather through Chapter 6 in the science textbook.
SS– In continuation of our unit on Economics, the students will be learning about the different kinds of work, volunteering, and goods and trade.
Religion- The story of “God speaks to Elijah” will help us explore how God never leaves us.
