Last week the students had a blast dressing up for Spirit Week. I hope you had a chance to check out last week’s Trinity Times to see our class highlighted on the front cover!!
Here’s a look at what we will be learning this week!
Math– We will be finishing up Module 2 on measurement by learning how to measure objects that are round. We will continue to solve one and two-step word problems involving measurement.
Reading- We will be reading A Letter to Ann. This is a short story about a boy who wants to invite a girl to his birthday party, but he runs into a few problems on the way. We will be discussing problem/solution and making inferences.
Science- We will are learning about food chains and food webs in different environments. The students will act out a food web and discuss ways that it can be destroyed.
Social Studies- The students are reviewing for their Unit 2: Geography test, which will be on Friday.
Religion- We will be reading the story of “The Battle of Jericho” and “The Call of Gideon”.
