Spelling – 3x each due Wednesday this week. Spelling test on Friday, our spelling words this week are: pin, win, hit, sit, miss, kiss, nap, can, out, up. This week is 10 words and Wonders always adds two words from last week.
Math – Still working on our first module with addition. Books will go home on Tuesday to study for their test on Wednesday.
ELA – This week we will be working on short i. We will also be learning the floss rule. If a word has one syllable, one short vowel you must double the last consonant. For example “bell”. This week are reading/heart/high frequency words are: down, out, up, every.
Writing – We have begun writing in our journals. We are focusing on 5 star sentences.
Social Studies/ Science – We will be learning about birds and their babies.
