Hello everyone! This will be information about our last full week and the final 4 days. Books/folders/materials will begin to slowly come home. If they have a red dot on them please take them out of the book bags and keep them at home. This is to avoid not sending ALL there supplies on the last day. Save their S books! That book has all of the spelling and especially HF words they should know for second grade. Any questions or concerns let me know!
Spelling – We will be reviewing and having a whiteboard challenge of all the spelling words we have learned.
Math – We are reviewing a couple concepts they need to know for next year. Our math benchmark is on Thursday.
ELA – Working in our Wonders book. Reviewing concepts we have learned this year. ELA benchmark is on Thursday.
Writing – We have been wrapping up with a lot of comprehension. Students read a short passage they have never read before and answer questions. We have been discussing finding the answer in the passage, writing complete answers, and of course our 5 star sentences. (Which they have become masters at)
Social Studies/ Science – Finishing our lapbook project and for science we will do a science lesson on Monday.
Important Dates – Benchmarks Thursday – Field Day on Friday! – Half Day/ Last day of School on Thursday (6/13)
