Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed your weekend and had fun. This week is only 3 days, there is no school on Thursday for our PD, Friday, and Monday for Memorial Day! Due to this there will be no tests this week. Be sure to check their green folder in case of anything. This Wednesday is our Writing Celebration! Please Dojo me if you are coming. I need to let the office know and also prepare myself for any children that wont have someone. 
Spelling – We will be reviewing old spelling words and practicing to spell new ones.
Math – This week we will ease into module 17 about measurement! In our centers we will be identifying 2D shapes around the room and having some free time playing with our 2D shapes to create new shapes.
ELA – We will do some reading comprehensions/ answering questions in complete sentences. We will review past concepts and read some old stories! We will also be doing centers. Our centers will work on ABC order sort and reviewing compound words and L blends.
Writing – This Wednesday is our Writing Celebration! A gentle reminder will be sent home today about the time. Come in through the front of the school and make your way to the multipurpose room down the hall all the way to the right! I am so excited to see the excitement on the kids faces as they read their stories. I am so proud of our authors!
Social Studies/ Science – We are going to be learning about Memorial Day! In science we will be learning about dolphins. We planted our grass last Friday. Now we will be observing our grass and tracking the growth in our grass journals.
