Welcome back everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your Easter and spring break. Check their green folders this week for any important information. Check their orange mainly on Wednesday with what we learn this week. Don’t forget to bring back their library books this week as well. This Friday we have our annual WINGO night! It is super fun and some great prizes are up for raffles! Any questions or concerns let me know.
Spelling – 3x each is due on Wednesday and our spelling test is on Friday. This weeks spelling words are: spoil, coin, join, joy, toy, boy, build, fall, town, mouse
Math – This week we will be starting our next module about 2D shapes. This module is also quite short. Our math test will be May 6th.
ELA – Reading test is on Thursday. This weeks story is called “Building Bridges”. This week we are learning another dipthong /oi/ and /oy/. We are reviewing all inflectional endings such as /ed/, /ing/, /s/. We will also be learning about final stable syllables. Examples of this are /ble/, /fle/, /tle/, /ple/.
Our HF words this week are: build, fall, money, knew, above, toward
Our vocabulary words are balance – something that will not fall. Section – a small part of an object.
Writing – This week we are starting the writing process for our own stories we will be writing.
Social Studies/Science – We will be finishing our lapbook this week.
Religion – We will continue in our religion books for this week.
