Hello everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend. Please continue to check their green folders for any important notices or information. This week we will start our new math module. This one only has 3 lessons so our next math test will be Tuesday (4/23). Make time for them to read every night as well to improve fluency and decoding skills. We will be in the STEM lab this week learning about planting and growing our grass pots. This Wednesday is our chapel slot, please Dojo me if you decide to come!
Spelling – 3x each or 10 sentences is due Wednesday and our spelling test will be on Friday. Our new spelling words are: born, corn, core, more, roar, soar, her, dirt, learn, sure
Math – We will start our new math module 9 on place value. This is only 3 lessons so our next test will be Tuesday (4/23).
ELA – We will be learning about our last bossy r team. “-or, oar, ore”. We will also be learning about abbreviations and going over prefixes such as -re and -un. Our new vocabulary words this week are idea – a plan to do something and unusual – not common. Our HF words this week are: began, better, guess, learn, right, sure
Writing – This week we will be picking a topic for our short stories that we will be writing!
Social Studies – We will be learning about maps and models.
