Math – We will start our new module “Understand Compare Problems”. This module will be problems with key words as “more than” and “fewer then”.
ELA – This week we will be learning about “ee”, “ea”, “ie” sayng the long “e” sound. We will be learning about the prefixes -re, -un, and -pre. We will also be learning about looking at context clues to help us determine the definition of a word. Our vocabulary words this week are danger – at risk of getting hurt. partner – with someone else. Please go over these vocabulary words early in the week to help them. Writing – We will be learning about the importance of details in our illustrations when we write our stories.
Social Studies – We will be talking about African American icons. Some of them will recognize maybe the one they are researching in class! We will also start our activity that will go along with our research sheet.
