Hello everyone! I hope you all had a blessed and safe weekend. Continue to check their green folders because we have a lot of fun stuff coming up for the last two weeks before Christmas break! I have sent home a notice about our book wrapping. Those books must be wrapped and labeled in a bag MAIN OFFICE by this Friday! We will also be having a PJ day on Friday for our Polar Express Day. Our Christmas concert is tomorrow night. Below is a list of the classroom they must go to because I will not be there. Any questions or concerns please Dojo me.
Spelling – 3x each is due on Wednesday and our spelling test is on Friday. Our spelling words this week are: make, take, came, game, gate, late, chin, graph, some, today
Math – We will wrap up our 7th module and have our math test on Wednesday!
ELA – Reading test is on Thursday. This week we are learning about long /a/ accompanying silent e at the end. We will be learning about contractions with “not” this week. We will also be going over verbs. Our reading words this week are: away, now, some, today, way, why
Writing – We will be doing a writing craft that goes with one of our read alouds Sneezy Snowman.
Social Studies/ Science – Last week we learned about polar bears and what their moms do to protect their cubs in their habitat. This week we will watch a video learning more about this.
Important Dates – Christmas concert is on Tuesday – FAST on Friday – PJ Day on Friday! (no slippers please!)
