Hello everyone! For this week please remember to check green folders for important notices and setting time aside each night for your child to read at least 10 minutes. This Friday we do not have school due to Veterans Day. We will have our Reading and Spelling test on Thursday. This week we will be doing our class act of kindness. We will be making Thanksgiving place mats and giving them to the nursing homes. I am excited to do this with the kids and for them to be able to share their kindness outside of Trinity. Spelling – 3x each is due on Wednesday and their test will be on Thursday. These weeks words are bug, could, cut, nut, fun, run, one, rug
Math – We have begun our new module: Properties of Operations. Their next math test will be on Tuesday 11/21.
ELA – We will be working on short u this week. We will be reading and going over our story that will be on the test so students have a chance to hear it and understand it. We also be learning about contractions. Make sure they are reviewing their HF words and are able to see the word and say it. Reading test will be on Thursday. This weeks HF are: could, live, one, then, three
Social Studies – We have begun our unit on citizens and responsibilities. Last week we learned about our responsibilities at home and school. We learned about cooperation and the rights we have. This weeks lesson will be on rules and laws.
