Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. This week is a normal full week of content. Make sure you are checking their green folder for any important information or notices. A reminder our chapel service for first grade is next Wednesday (11/27). Spelling – 3x each is due on Wednesday and our spelling test is on Friday. This weeks spelling words are: fish, shop, ship, with, thing, sang, want, call, fast, send
Math – We are beginning our sixth module! This module is titled understand put together and taking apart problems. This is the last module about addition and subtraction. I will let you know before hand when the next math test will be for this module.
ELA – Reading test is on Thursday. This week we will be learning about disgraphs “sh” “th” and “ng”. These may be tricky for some because its basically learning new sounds. We will also be learning about closed syllables and common vs proper nouns. This weeks high frequency words are: all, call, day, her, want
Writing – We are practicing our handwriting and 5 star sentences
Social Studies/ Science – We are learning about animal traits and how to recognize those in their offspring.
