Hi everyone! Hope you all had another great weekend. Please continue to check their green folders for important notices. Orange folders are for ELA practice that we complete in class. Those folders must come back and forth every day as well. Also please make sure your child is reading at least 10 minutes each night it really does help them.
Spelling – 3x each is due Wednesday and their test is on Friday. Spelling words are: spill, spin, grass, grab, drop, drip, hop, lot, two, move
Math – Our subtraction test will be this Wednesday. We will take time to play review games on Monday and Tuesday to prepare. Their books will go home on Tuesday for study material. We have finished this book and they will receive their new books on Thursday for our next modules.
ELA – We will be learning about consonant blends. sp-, gr-, dr- We will also be learning about possessives in sentences and recognizing them. Our HF words are: jump, move, run, too
Writing – We will be working on a new craft for our bulletin board. Students will decorate an apple and write what they enjoy about fall.
Science – On Friday students will have a one page small quiz about our Science unit. I will send home on Thursday a review sheet of what will be on the test it will be nothing extreme. After this we will move on to our Social Studies Unit 1.
