Hello everyone! A reminder there is no school this Friday. Please continue to check their green take home folders for any important notices or forms. Spelling – 3x each is due Wednesday! Please make sure you are reviewing these words every night to prepare for their spelling test on Thursday since there is no school on Friday. The new spelling words this week are: hop, top, log. hog. hot, lot, flip, black, they, do
Math – This week we are continuing our second module on subtraction. We are doing extra worksheets after every lesson to ensure that they are understanding subtraction. Their next math test will be on 10/25 (Wednesday) Our review day will be the day prior.
ELA – We will be working on short “o” this week. They will learn about alphabetical order as well. We will be preparing for our test by going over the story and concepts beforehand through worksheets and group work. Please make sure you are going over their HF words. Their reading test will be on Thursday. Their HF words are: fun, they, make, too
Writing – We are still working hard in our generals by using the right punctuation, grammar, and handwriting skills.
Science – We just did a lesson about leaves and why they change colors in the fall we will be wrapping up our Animals Superhero this week and beginning our first unit in Social Studies.
