Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing well. Please continue to check their green folders for any important notices. Also, setting time aside to read every night. Make sure they are going over their HF words every night as well. The reading tests will be getting a little tougher and will be focusing a lot now on vocabulary words.
Spelling – 3x each is due Wednesday and their spelling test will be on Friday. Their spelling words are: mail, rain, chain, play, day, took, hood, our, carry
Math – Their math test is on Wednesday. Their books will will be sent home on Tuesday to review.
ELA – This week we will be learning about “ai” and “ay” making the long a sound. We will learn about ABC order when the first letter is the same and about the verbs was and were. Their vocabulary words are: special, splendid, popped, pretty. Their HF words are: about, animal, carry, eight, give, our
Writing – This week we will be that each story needs a topic, order, and makes sense.
Science – We will have our third science lesson on different parts of a plant and what it needs to grow. This will prepare us for our planting project where we will plant our own little plants in class.
