Hello everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas break and Happy New Year! This week will be focused a lot on getting the children back in the swing of our class routines and procedures. Please make sure to check their green folders for any important notices or information. Our reading and spelling test will be on Friday this week since we did not have school yesterday. Math – This week the children will get their new math books for our new module. This module will be all about understanding how to add and subtract from word problems. We will be going over this with practice, hands on manipulatives, and making sure we understand the key words in the problem.
ELA – This week we will do a little review of what we have gone over and move into learning about long “i”. We will review plurals with an “s” and learn about CVCe words. Make sure they review their HF words and can read them fluently. This weeks HF words are – should, water, green, grow, pretty, together,
Social Studies – This week we will learn about elections!
