Hello, everyone. This week I am just posting a few quick updates.
6th Religion
On Friday, the students will have their test on Unit 1. You may view the review here. There is not memory verse for this week.
6th Social Studies
The students will have their test on Chapter 3, Mesopotamia, on Wednesday. You may view the study guide here. On Thursday, we will begin studying the geography of Ancient Egypt.
7th Social Studies
On Tuesday, the students will present their History Detective projects on various topics from colonial American history. Then, we will get into the three regions of the 13 original English colonies. There will not be a test for a couple of weeks, as we have just started the chapter.
8th Social Studies
Eighth grade will begin studying life in the Old West this week. We will begin by looking at the mining and railroad industries, as well as the early black cowboys that migrated west at the end of Reconstruction. No tests or quizzes this week.
