This week we will be learning about the Minor Prophets of the Old Testament, and then they will learn about the chief parts of the Christian faith through studying the story of 12 year old Jesus in the temple. The memory verse for this week is Romans 4:3. The quiz is on Wednesday.

7th Social Studies

In social studies, the students will be working on group research projects that will explore the truth behind people and events from colonial history. For example, the students might research the true story of Pocahontas, explore the theories of what happened to the colonists at Roanoke, or what life was like for both free and enslaved Africans in Jamestown. The students are very excited to begin this project!
