Hello, everyone! We have a short week, but lots to do. We will begin reviewing for finals in some classes this week, and others will begin after Memorial Day. The students should have saved their old tests and review sheets to help fill in their final exam review packets. The students will receive one copy of the final review packets, and will have to print their own copy from the Google Classroom if it gets lost. I recommend that the students keep a folder just for final reviews. Here are the class updates.
6th Religion
This week the students will each research one of Jesus’ 12 Disciples. This is a mini research project to find out more about the disciples’ background and the work they did after Jesus’ ascension into Heaven. We will begin reviewing for the final after Memorial Day.
6th Social Studies
In social studies, we will do a short study of Europe right after the fall of Rome and into the Medieval Period. We will begin reviewing for the final after Memorial Day.
7th Religion
The students will have their test on Unit 5 on Tuesday, May 21st. Then we will begin reviewing for the final on Wednesday.
7th Social Studies
This week we will be reviewing Topics 1-3 for the final exam.
8th Religion
On Monday, we will study the book of Jonah and learn about the fact that God will always forgive everyone. On Tuesday, the students will take an open book test on Unit 4. We will begin reviewing for the final after Memorial Day.
8th Social Studies
On Monday, we will finish the Decade Project presentations, and then we will begin reviewing Topics 8 and 9 for the final exam.
