Welcome back to a new week at Trinity. I pray that each of you have a blessed Holy Week and Easter, and an enjoyable break. If you do not have a church home, I invite you to worship with us at Trinity Church. Here are the updates for our short week.

6th Religion

This week we will study the conversation between Nicodemus and Jesus. This conversation is the context for what is probably the most well known verse in the Bible, John 3:16.

6th Social Studies

Though this is a short week, we will still cover a lot of information. We will study the beginning of the Roman Empire, how Christianity formed and spread throughout the Roman Empire, and the cultural legacy of Rome.

7th Religion

This week we will study the missionary journeys of Paul and Barnabas from the Book of Acts, which will address where and how we should pray to God.

7th Social Studies

On Monday, the students will take their test on Topic 7, and then on Tuesday, we will begin studying the conflicts and compromises that led to the Civil War.

8th Religion

The students will be spending their time in class working on the House of Worship models in the STEAM lab. They are already off to a great start and have big plans for their designs.

8th Social Studies

This week we will look at the immediate aftermath of World War II and how this led to the decades long Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union.
