7th Grade Social Studies:
This week we will continue our study of Early American cultures and civilizations. We will also explore the impact of global trade and how it led to the exploration of North and South America.
There will be a test on Chapter 1 late next week. A study guide will go home with each student next Monday.
8th Grade Social Studies
8th Grade has been looking at the causes of the Civil War. This week we will be studying the early battles, various strategies used by each side, as well as the meanings behind songs from the Civil War period.
There will be a quiz on battle strategies and the strengths and weaknesses of the Union and Confederacy on Monday, September 16th.
8AA Religion
In Religion class, we have started with the very beginning: Creation. This week we will explore the impact of the Great Flood and the Tower of Babel.
The memory verse for this week is 2 Corinthians 10:17-18. The quiz will be on Thursday, September 12th.
