Welcome back to a new week at Trinity! Here are the updates for my classes.
6th Religion
The students will have their test on Unit 1 on Tuesday, October 26th. You can view the study guide here. Next, we will get into the Book of Exodus, which will coincide with our social studies unit on Egypt. There is no memory verse this week.
6th Social Studies
In sixth grade social studies, we are moving right along. The students will be reviewing for their Topic 2 test on Thursday, October 28th. You may view the study guide here. Next week we will begin our unit on Ancient Egypt and Kush, which is always a crowd favorite.
7th Social Studies
This week we are continuing to study colonial life in America. We will learn about the founding of the Middle and Southern colonies, and what life was like in the 13 Colonies.
8th Religion
The students will have their test on Unit 1 on Tuesday, October 26th. You may view the study guide here. Later in the week we will begin studying the Exodus from Egypt. There is no memory verse this week.
8th Social Studies
This week we will be reviewing for the test on Topic 9, Reconstruction, which will be on Thursday October 28th. You may view the study guide here. On Friday, the students will research the first African American members of Congress.
