Happy Monday! This week at Trinity we are celebrating unity and school spirit. A list of dress up days and events was emailed last week from the main office. It is sure to be an enjoyable week!
7th Social Studies
On Tuesday seventh grade will have a test on chapter 2. There will be extra help on Tuesday morning before school. You may view the study guide here. Later in the week they will begin learning about the settlement of the first English colonies in America. The students should also read up through chapter 4 in The Light in the Forest by Wednesday.
8th Social Studies
This week the students will continue to learn about life in the West and how lives were impacted by the westward movement. This week they will learn more about how the Native Americans were impacted, as well as the growth of the cattle industry and the life of cattle ranchers and cowboys. The students should read up through page 100 in Chasing Lincoln’s Killer by Tuesday.
8th Religion
This week is a busy week in religion class. The students will be presenting their Tough Times Tool Kit projects, and there will be a test on Unit 1 on Friday, October 28th. They completed notes for the essay question as well as a Unit 1 Review last week.
