Hello all! Here is the run down for this week:
8th Social Studies
This week we are looking at the programs that were developed as part of FDR’s New Deal program and how they impacted the nation. We will also be studying how the everyday lives of people were impacted by the Depression.
7th Social Studies
This week we are continuing to look at the presidency of Thomas Jefferson, especially the impact of the Lewis & Clark Expedition and how Jefferson dealt with threats from overseas. I estimate that Seventh grade will take the test on Chapter 9 next Friday, May 16th. More details will be posted next week along with a link to the study guide.
8AA Religion
In Religion, we are continuing to study the book of 1 Kings. We will study the actions and consequences of Solomon as well as Elijah, the prophet. The Memory verse for this week is Hebrews 13:6, which is found on page 79 of the student book or here.
