These are just the highlights of our week, as our day of learning together consists of so much more!

Welcome March!

This week we are celebrating Read Across America Day as well as Dr. Seuss’s Day which focuses on motivating children to read! We will be celebrating with fun reading activities. The Book Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 3, and will give children an opportunity to purchase books. Please see the flyer sent home this past Friday for more details. A Scholastic book club flyer was also sent home so there are many opportunities to expand your home library and encourage reading!

Thank you to Isaiah’s mom who came in this past Friday as our latest Mystery Reader! We enjoyed your informative book about a woman whose knowledge help launch the first man on the moon back in the 1960’s. We enjoyed your time spent with us.

Please sign up to be a Mystery Reader if you have not done so already! The following dates are still available:  4/3, 4/24, 5/1 and 5/8.

As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

May you have a blessed week ahead,

Antonia Ryan
