These are just the highlights of our week, as our day of learning together consists of so much more!
Valentine’s Day was a fun day in second grade! Thank you to all of the parents who sent in treats and paper goods for the class. Some of the fruit was creatively cut into hearts, all was fresh and scrumptious! The cookies, jello and drinks were much appreciated and enjoyed as well. We were able to decorate our Valentine boxes with all of the wonderful embellishments that were donated and fun was had when it was time to hand out our valentines and bags of goodies. Thank you!
A big thank you to our Mystery Reader, Ben’s grandmother, who visited us on Friday and shared her favorite Valentine’s Day book and some sweet, pink treats as well!
Please send in new sets of crayons, erasers and pencils to replenish and renew if your child needs these important tools.
Kindly label all sweaters, hats, gloves, etc. with your child’s name.
School shoes are part of the uniform and must be worn every day. Sneakers are kept in school and only worn for gym and recess.
School will be closed for Winter Recess this week, February 17-21.
