Our bush bean plants have been sent home this week and may be planted in the ground or in a large pot/planter for the summer! When ready to harvest, the more you pick, the more you get! Pick pods when they are 4-6 inches long. Good luck! The children have been having fun watching them grow from just a seed! Some of our beans did not flourish so those children will get to try again!

Our shoeboxes have been mailed out! The children added their completed autobiographies to their shoeboxes along with all donated items and their All About God books. We said a prayer for our boxes, asking God to bless the children who receive them. We are hopeful the shoeboxes will put a smile on the children’s faces and that they understand how loved they are by God and us! I will be tracking the shoeboxes and eventually have news as to who or where they were sent to.
