Important Notes:
THANK YOU for my very own birthday book! With Mrs. Sandifer’s coordination, the children made their page at home and Mrs. Sandifer compiled it. What a sweet surprise! Thank you for all of your special gifts and wishes second grade families!
There is a Field Trip note coming home soon! The second grade will be seeing the musical performance of Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus by Author Mo Willems. Stay tuned!
Tests: Please sign and return test slips when sent home. It is strongly encouraged that you review the tests. Test errors will always be reviewed with your child in school; in most cases, the children are able to make their corrections independently.
Homework: If your child has difficulty completing homework on any given night, please let me know with a quick note or email. This will help me focus my attention on particular concepts that need further review well before it is time for assessment. If homework cannot be completed on any given night due to other reasons, please let me know. Incomplete/missing homework is expected to be made up. Thank you!
The second graders are still looking for Mystery Readers for the last few months ahead of school! Won’t you please visit our classroom and read a book to us? We’d love to have you come and visit! Please consider and email me so we can arrange a day and time.
God bless our week ahead!
