Welcome to Mrs. Ryan’s second grade Class Notes!
The second grade will be traveling to the Jones Beach Nature Center this Wednesday, May 7 to experience a Plants and Animals program. Please send in a bag lunch, snack, and a water bottle for the day. A string bag or small backpack would be helpful to pack a snack, water bottle, sunglasses, and a hat. There will be no hot lunch option for the day of the trip as we will likely eat in the classroom due to our return time. Be sure your child wears a comfortable pair of sneakers and brings a jacket/sweatshirt. Uniforms do not need to be worn. Our trip will still be on if it rains; part of the trip will be held indoors.
Are you interested in visiting our classroom to share some fun and read a book to our class? If so, please let me know as soon as possible so we can set up a date! We’d love to have you! Who will be our next MYSTERY READER?
