The Read-a-thon continues! Please read daily with your child and return the reading logs and donation pages by March 25th!
We’ve recently learned about why St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated, where it originates from, and who St. Patrick was. In lieu of St. Patrick’s Day, a simple snack and some fun is in store for the second graders on Monday, March 17th! It is a free Dress Down in green day on Monday!
A big thank you to Mrs. Sandifer as she was our latest Mystery Reader this past Friday. We enjoyed her visit as well as her reading of the book Hidden Figures which told about four amazing black women in the Space Race! Are you interested in visiting our classroom to share some fun and read a book to our class? If so, please let me know as soon as possible so we can set up a date! We’d love to have you! Who will be our next MYSTERY READER?
It’s that time of the year! Some children are in need of supplies such as pencils, erasers, glue sticks, and crayons. Reminders will be written in their planners. Thank you!
