We have a busy week ahead of us!
In ELA we are reading Tops and Bottoms and Goodness Grows in Gardens. We will be exploring theme and point of view. We will also focus our attention on visualization. In grammar we are covering writing quotations. Our spelling words for the week are homophones : hole, whole, its, it’s, hear, here, won, one, our, hour, their, there, fur, and fir.
In Math we are finishing chapter 6, the introduction to division, and we will have a test on Friday. I will have extra help on Friday morning at 7:45.
In Social Studies, we are finishing lesson one on The Land of Canada. A review packet went home last Friday. The test is TUESDAY.
In Science we are continuing our studies on animals. This week we will be looking at animal adaptations, behaviors, and how animals in the past are similar to today’s animals. . We will have a test on this chapter on Friday, January 22nd.
In Religion, we are looking at how tools, such as the bible, help us learn. The 6th Commandment test is on Wednesday.
