Math 6

This week we are finishing up our unit on rational numbers.  We will have our first test on Tuesday, 9/24.  Use the review packet to guide your studying.  Students need to be able to compare, order, and find the absolute value of rational numbers, which includes whole numbers and integers.  They also need to be able to classify them based on their properties.  Following the exam, we will start our unit on greatest common factor and least common multiple.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are finishing up our unit on square and cubed roots.  Use the review packet to guide your studying.  The test is Tuesday, 9/24.  Following the exam, we will begin learning about exponent rules.

Algebra

This week we are starting a new chapter on Inequalities.  Students will be learning how to interpret, graph, and solve 2 step and multi-step inequalities.  There will be a quiz on Friday, 9/27.
