Math 6

This week we are starting our first chapter on Integers.  We will be exploring integers and their opposites, comparing and ordering integers, and absolute value.  There will be a quiz on the above mentioned topics on Friday, 9/15.  

Pre-Algebra

This week we are exploring square roots.  We will learn to simplify radicals, approximating square roots, classifying rational numbers, and learn how to convert repeating decimals to fractions.  There will be a quiz on the above mentioned topics on Friday, 9/15. 

Algebra

This week we are reviewing to to solve 2 step and multistep equations.  We will then explore how to solve equations with variables on both sides.  We will have a quiz on solving equations on Thursday, 9/14.  Following the quiz, we will explore how to solve consective integer problems.
