Math 6

This week we will be reviewing how to write, solve, and graph inequalities. The test on inequalities is on Tuesday, 5/7. After the test, we will be starting our last unit on Geometry.  We will be exploring how to find area, surface area, and volume of different shapes.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are continuing our chapter on 3D figures.  This week our focus will be on finding the volume of pyramids, cones, and spheres. There will be a quiz on this topic on Tuesday, 5/7. The rest of the week we will be reviewing our 3D geometry unit.  The test will be on Thursday, 5/9.  Use the review packets to guide your studying.

Algebra

We have finished learning all of the curriculum needed for the Algebra 1 regents.  We will spend the remainder of the year preparing and reviewing for the regents.  Students will be getting a binder to help review and practice concepts needed for the regents on June 4th.
