Math 6

This week we will be focusing on how to solve 1 step equations using inverse operations.  We will have a quiz on Wednesday, 5/5 on inverse operations and determining solutions to equations. When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 7

We are continuing with our chapter on Probability. This week we are exploring probability word problems.  The quiz on this topic is Monday, 5/3.  The rest of the week will focus on probability of compound events.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 8 (Pre-Algebra)

This week we are finishing up with our chapter on 3D Geometry.  The unit test will be on Tuesday, 5/4.  Following the exam we will begin our last chapter on functions of equations. When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Algebra

This week we are finishing up our chapter on Statistics (Chapter 12 in your textbook).  We learned these concepts last year, so this will be a quick chapter for us.  The chapter covers histograms, box and whisker plots, dot plots, measures of center, percentiles, and standard deviation.  The test is Tuesday, 5/4.  Following the exam, we will start our last chapter on radicals. (Chapter 10 in your textbook.)    When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.
