Math 6

This week we will be having a quiz on solving 1 step equations on Tuesday, 5/11.  Following the quiz we will be learning how to solve 2 step equations.  The quiz on solving 2 step equations will be on Friday, 5/14.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 7

We are continuing with our chapter on Probability. This week we will focus on reviewing for our test, which will be on Thursday, 5/13. The test will cover theoretical, experimental, and compound probability. It also covers the differences between independent and dependent events.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 8 (Pre-Algebra)

This week we are finishing up our last chapter on functions of equations.  We will have a quiz on Tuesday, 5/11 on using the vertical line test to determine a function, domain, range, linear vs. non-linear functions.   When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Algebra

We  are finishing up our last chapter on radicals. (Chapter 10 in your textbook.).  The test will be Friday, 5/14.  The exam covers using the Pythagorean theorem, simplifying perfect and non-perfect square radicals, rational and irrational numbers, and graphing radical equations.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.
