Math 6

We have a quiz on adding and subtracting positive and negative numbers on Monday, 4/26.  Following the quiz our focus will be on multiplying and dividing positive and negative numbers.  The quiz on those skills will be on Friday, 4/30.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 7

We are continuing with our chapter on Probability. This week we are exploring sampling/probability word problems.  There is a quiz on  theoretical and experimental probability and sampling on Thursday, 4/29.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 8 (Pre-Algebra)

This week we are continuing with our chapter on 3D Geometry.  This week our focus is on finding the volume of pyramids, cones, and spheres.  The quiz on this topic will be on Thursday, 4/29.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Algebra

This week we are starting a new chapter on Statistics (Chapter 12 in your textbook).  We learned these concepts last year, so this will be a quick chapter for us.  The chapter covers histograms, box and whisker plots, dot plots, measures of center, percentiles, and standard deviation.    When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.
